Ardenti Corde is a free, non-commercial, personal project — a digital companion space for Christian community, spiritual reflection, shared testimony, and faith connection. It is not a registered company, charity, or legal entity of any kind. It is maintained by a single private individual as an act of faith and service.

The platform operator reserves the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these standards, at their sole discretion and without prior notice or obligation to provide reasons.
You retain ownership of the stories, testimonies, and reflections you post. By sharing content on Ardenti Corde, you grant a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store and display that content to other members of the community as part of the Service. You may delete your content at any time from your profile.
Sensitive content: Testimonies and personal stories may be deeply meaningful and deeply vulnerable. Only share what you are genuinely comfortable making visible to other members. This platform is NOT a substitute for pastoral care, counselling, or professional support.
Content posted by users does not represent official Church teaching or the views of the platform operator.
Except for content submitted by users, all rights, title, and interest in and to the Service, including its name, branding, logo, design, text, graphics, software, features, and underlying content, are owned by or licensed to the platform operator.
You may use the Service only for its intended personal and community purposes. You must not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, reverse engineer, create derivative works from, or otherwise exploit any part of the Service without prior written permission from the platform operator.
Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to users except for the limited right to access and use the Service in accordance with these Terms.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the platform operator expressly disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to:

This limitation of liability applies regardless of the legal theory on which the claim is based — whether in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, or otherwise — and even if the platform operator has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Because the Service is provided free of charge and on a non-commercial basis, in no event shall the total aggregate liability of the platform operator to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service exceed the amount paid by the user for the Service, which is currently SGD $0 because the Service is provided free of charge.
While the platform operator takes reasonable steps to protect your data, no system is completely secure. The platform operator makes no representation or warranty that the Service is immune from unauthorised access, data breaches, cyberattacks, or other security incidents.
In the event of a data breach or security incident, the platform operator's sole obligation is to make a good-faith effort to notify affected users as promptly as reasonably practicable, and shall bear no further liability in connection with such an event.

By registering, you consent to receiving transactional emails necessary for your account (welcome email, password reset, security alerts). These are sent only when necessary. If community updates or newsletters are ever sent, an unsubscribe option will always be included. You will never be contacted for commercial purposes.
Content shared by members — testimonies, reflections, prayer requests, and encouragements — represents the personal faith experience of that individual only. It is not official Church teaching, canonical advice, psychological guidance, or medical counsel. The platform operator accepts no liability in connection with any reliance placed on user-generated content.
If you or someone in the community is experiencing a crisis — spiritual, emotional, mental, or physical — please seek qualified professional help. This platform is a companion space, NOT a substitute for professional pastoral care, therapy, or medical support.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the platform operator from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party right; or (d) any content you submit or post through the Service.
The Service relies on third-party infrastructure (including Firebase/Google). The platform operator is not responsible for the availability, performance, policies, or practices of any third-party service. Your use of third-party services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
You may delete your account at any time via Settings. The platform operator may suspend or permanently remove an account at any time, with or without notice, if these Terms are violated, to protect the integrity of the community, or if required by applicable law. The platform operator shall not be liable for any consequences arising from such suspension or termination.
These Terms may be updated from time to time. Where changes are material, users will be notified by email and/or in-app notice at least 14 days before changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore (or the applicable SG jurisdiction of the platform operator's residence), without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that territory, to the extent permitted by law.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or severed from these Terms. The remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with the Privacy information set out in Section 9, constitute the entire agreement between you and the platform operator with respect to the Service and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, and representations.
By clicking 'I Accept These Terms' in the application, or by checking the acceptance box during registration, you confirm that you have read and understood these Terms in their entirety and consent to the collection and use of your personal data as described above.
